UnderConstruction cordially invite you to a Christmas Performance with a difference.
Inspired by the age old Oxfordshire tradition of performing Mummer’s plays at Christmas time, UnderConstruction will weave you in and out of the Castle’s Christmas Market and regale you with an exciting tale of imprisonment and heroism. Join us and help save the Empress Matilda who is currently besieged at Oxford Castle, trapped in its tower, and in need of entertainment!

performances: Thursday to Sunday from December 3rd to 18th
times: 7pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; 5pm on Sunday, plus a 3pm matinee on Saturdays.
tickets: £10 (£8 students and children aged 12-18; children under 12 £5, under 5’s go free),

note: This is a promenade performance lasting approx. 70 minutes that will occur both indoors and outdoors: please wear sensible shoes and appropriately warm clothing.
